BECOME THE CAPTAIN: Slowly becoming a master tactician with each subsequent run! Assume the role of Captain Cutter, seeking revenge against the endgame boss, Blackbone. Use the HUB to equip ship upgrades & crew members before each run. Each run generates new encounters that you must navigate carefully to reach Blackbone.

ASSEMBLE YOUR CREW: Recruit new members to your crew to discover their potential. Then foster that potential by sending them into battle! It's your responsibility to grow them into the legendary pirates they were always meant to be.

Recruit from 6 unique classes, each with distinct abilities & playstyles for your ship's crew. After each run, your crew's skills can be upgraded. Damage persists across runs, so some members must be swapped out to heal.

EVER-CHANGING LAND AND SEA: Tackle fresh new challenges as the game world shifts procedurally with each run. With every playthrough comes a brand new set of secrets, combat scenarios, and treasures to discover.

Encounters feature various factions & enemy types. Choose your battles wisely. Your crew will fight enemies on ships & on land. Shops let you heal, upgrade crew, buy cannons, & repair the ship. You can extort shops, but it leads to a fight for the loot.

TURN THE TIDES: Customize your encounters with your cannons! Unleash your ship's artillery during naval combat to destroy enemy ship modules, giving your crew a strategic advantage during shipdeck combat.

Encounters start with a Sea Battle. Use your cannons to target key areas. Your ship & the enemy's have distinct buffs that can be destroyed. Crew members can be targeted & killed. Defend your ship & crew while shifting the battle to the boarding phase.

TACTICS EN GARDE! Experience a fresh new take on turn-based tactical combat, designed to replicate the violent dance of visceral cloak-and-dagger duels, using the environment to gain an advantage like never before.

The boarding phase is where your crew engages in hand-to-hand combat with the enemy. Use your crew's abilities to maneuver & pin the enemy against obstacles for fatal damage. Leverage the environment - push enemies into spikes, grab one-time weapons, or swing rapidly into position with ropes.

SUMMON CREATURES FROM THE DEEP: Creatures thought only to exist in legend can be found roaming the oceans of Rogue Waters, but are being cruelly held in captivity. Send their captors to Davy Jones' locker and gain their trust to earn the ability to call upon them in battle.

You can summon 3 sea monsters to assist in the boarding phase. The Kraken crushes nearby enemies. The Mermaid disrupts & pushes enemies in any direction you choose. The Giant Snail drops a deadly spiked obstacle onto the deck for your advantage.
